- Share your interests, passion, issues and ideas about how you can make a difference in the community.
- Learn from the experts – social media, communications, advocacy and volunteerism
- Mentor with the HNC advocacy team.
HNC's Youth Leaders for Change is for anyone age 14-18 who has either a bleeding disorder or a sister, brother or parent with a bleeding disorder.
This program is free to participants selected to attend, including registration, lodging, transportation, activities, and meals arranged by HNC.
HNC's Youth Leaders for Change is funded by a grant from CSL Behring.
All work and no play? No way! Saturday evening we all kick back, eat dinner and "hang out" (literally) at the Triangle Rock Club, a premiere, cutting-edge indoor climbing facility – trianglerockclub.com.
HNC will recognize all teens participants and provide letters of reference for developing resumes, career paths and college applications. Participants and their parents will also have an opportunity to join HNC in February at the NHF Washington Days in DC where bleeding disorders organizations from around the country come to meet face-to-face with lawmakers and staff who shape national policy.
Parents are invited to join us for the Saturday evening activities and dinner at the Triangle Rock Club.
Hotel accommodations and travel assistance for participants and parents is available.
