Do you know how to select an insurance plan, what benefits are included, and where to find answers to your questions about health insurance? Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC), along with Takeda, invite you to an educational dinner and program, Health Insurance Roadmap, presented by Joe Gniadek, Reimbursement Access Manager for Takeda.

This program will provide you with the information you need to help you make informed decisions about your healthcare insurance. The program includes an overview of insurance options, information to help you navigate transitions that will impact coverage, and the information you need to respond to insurance denials of coverage.

Joe Gniadek provides education and resources about insurance related topics. His goal is to improve patient access, reduce barriers, and strengthen relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.

We encourage all HNC members to attend this important program as Open Enrollment for ACA Marketplace plans runs from November 1 through December 15, 2019 for insurance coverage in 2020.

Please register by Tuesday, November 12, 2019. If you have any questions, contact the HNC office at events@hemophilia-nc.org or call 800-990-5557.

This event is being offered free to all HNC members and their immediate families. Priority will be given to HNC members who are not affiliated with a specialty pharmacy, home care, or pharmaceutical company that caters to the bleeding disorders community. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.

optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Takeda representatives about products and services they offer to the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Information about this company's products and services is being provided as a public service only. As a non-profit advocate for the bleeding disorders community, Hemophilia of North Carolina does not endorse any treatment products, manufacturers, home care services, or individual medical providers.
