Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC), along with Octapharma invite you to an Educational Dinner, Dental Health in Bleeding Disorders, presented by Janella Swartz, RN, Nurse Educator for Octapharma.

This presentation is designed to provide basic understanding of oral health needs in persons with bleeding disorders. It discusses common concerns dentists may have in treating patients with bleeding disorders and developing a plan of care with routine, restorative and surgical dental care. Janella Swartz, RN has been a member of the bleeding disorders community for the past twelve years as a skilled home infusion nurse. As a Nurse Educator, she hopes to empower the bleeding disorders community by providing current information on their bleeding disorder and encouraging them to ask questions and advocate when necessary.

We encourage all HNC members to attend, as this program provides you with the opportunity to learn and connect with others in the community.

Please register by Tuesday, October 15, 2019. If you have any questions, contact the HNC office at events@hemophilia-nc.org or call 800-990-5557.

This event is being offered free to all HNC members and their immediate families.
