Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC), along with Genentech invite you to a luncheon and an interactive workshop, The Science of Connection: Strengthening Relationships in Times of Change. Virginia Chandler, RN, Genentech Hemophilia Community Clinical Educator will be your host. Explore how to maintain strong relationships through trust and connections. There will be role playing and tips to apply what you have learned. This program was developed in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) Positive Psychology Center, and will be facilitated by Karen Reivich, PhD, a UPenn trainer and an expert in her field.

This workshop and luncheon is free and we highly encourage everyone to attend as you will have the opportunity to learn from and connect with other families in the community.

This event is being offered free to all HNC members and their immediate families. Priority will be given to HNC members who are not affiliated with a specialty pharmacy, home care, or pharmaceutical company that caters to the bleeding disorders community. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.

optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Genentech representatives about products and services they offer to the community.
