HNC Educational Dinner
Understanding von Willebrand Disease
Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC), along with Takeda, invite you to an Educational Dinner in Concord, NC. Takeda Clinical Educator Betsy Koval will present the “Hello Talk!” Understanding von Willebrand Disease.
Do you know that von Willebrand disease (vWD) is the most common inherited bleeding disorder? This program introduces the symptoms and types of vWD, potential treatment options, and how emotional and community support systems can help those living with this bleeding disorder. Besty Koval was previously the Lead Nurse Coordinator at the Comprehensive Bleeding Disorders Center at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for about 10 years.
We encourage HNC members with von Willebrand disease and any other bleeding disorder to attend, as this program provides you with the opportunity to learn and connect with others in the community.
Please register by Tuesday, September 10, 2019. If you have any questions, contact the HNC office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800-990-5557..
This event is being offered free to all HNC members and their immediate families. Priority will be given to HNC members who are not affiliated with a specialty pharmacy, home care, or pharmaceutical company that caters to the bleeding disorders community. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.
optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Takeda representatives about products and services they offer to the community.
