Hemophilia of North Carolina and Shire invite you to participate in this HELLO TALK, an educational presentation for individuals affected by bleeding disorders. Join us for dinner and the presentation in either Raleigh or Charlotte.

Marvin Poole, Sr. Manager, US Patient Advocacy, will present a program entitled Sharing Your Story. Everyone has a story to tell; it is important to be able to share a strong story beyond the bleeding disorders community to help self-confidence, to increase awareness of bleeding conditions in general, and the need for access to high quality healthcare. This HELLO TALK discusses the critical elements of a compelling story and helps attendees develop their own story using effective communication skills. These same skills will be helpful for those planning to attend HNC's Legislative Day in Raleigh later this spring, or for anyone who needs to advocate and tell their story.

optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Shire representatives about products and services they offer to the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Information about this company's products and services is being provided as a public service only. As a non-profit advocate for the bleeding disorders community, Hemophilia of North Carolina does not endorse any treatment products, manufacturers, home care services, or individual medical providers.

Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) and Shire are pleased to provide this educational opportunity free to HNC members. Because of space constraints, priority will be given to HNC members and their immediate family who are unaffiliated with home care, pharmaceutical, and related industries. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.
