SOAR Women's Education Day
Saturday, June 10, 2017 – 9:00am-5:00pm
(plus optional dinner)
Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) is hosting a SOAR Women’s Education Day. Returning to the beautiful Graylyn Conference Center, this year’s SOAR Education Day is open to women with bleeding disorders (including von Willebrand disease, platelet disorders, rare factor deficiencies, and women with hemophilia including symptomatic carriers) and moms/female caregiver of girls with bleeding disorders. This full day event will include sessions addressing intimacy, managing stress, and more. There will also be fun activities including a yoga session and a “Vineyard Challenge.” This event is offered free to HNC members thanks to the generous support of our sponsor.
Some things to know about this event:
- Registration begins at 9:00am at the Graylyn Conference Center.
- Please wear or bring something comfortable to wear for the yoga session.
- We will begin our formal program at 9:30am.
- Programming will end at 5:00pm. There will be an optional offsite dinner for those who are interested.
This program is being offered free to HNC members for women ages 18 and up. Because of space constraints, priority will be given to HNC members who are part of the SOAR Program and are unaffiliated with home care, pharmaceutical, and other related industries. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.
