Join us for dinner and a National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Victory for Women workshop, Managing Stress and Improving Wellness. This interactive workshop will address stress – what it is, how it manifests in the body, symptoms, and what causes stress reactions. We will talk about methods of how to deal with and manage stress as well as techniques to manage negative thoughts.

The workshop will be led by NHF's Kate Nammacher. Kate is the Director of Education at the National Hemophilia Foundation, working on initiatives such as Steps for Living, Victory For Women, Better You Know and NYLI. Kate has been in the non-profit field, with a focus on health and well-being, for over 15 years. She received her MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of California at Berkeley. Kate worked for organizations such as the Guttmacher Institute, Community Healthcare Network, the Advertising Council, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC.

SOAR is an HNC program for women affected with a bleeding disorder. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for girls and women so they may SOAR to their full potential. Victory for Women is an initiative of NHF to address critical issues that are faced by women with bleeding disorders.
