Hemophilia of North Carolina would like to invite our members and families who are affected by a bleeding disorder and friends in the medical community to attend our next program in the HNC On the Go series. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the HNC Latin Union Group and enjoy a presentation on the world of hemophilia.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the global caring community and celebrate a belated World Hemophilia Day (April 17, 2009) together. Enjoy a very special presentation by Guillermo Sanchez, HNC's Hispanic Liaison, who will share his insight and story about growing up with hemophilia in Mexico.
A special themed lunch will be provided to celebrate our Cinco de Mayo theme along with games and activities for the children. At the conclusion of the meeting, members will receive tickets to tour the NC Zoo and enjoy all the exhibits where you can discover more than 1,100 animals and connect with wildlife from two different continents as you explore 500 acres of exhibits carefully constructed to resemble natural habitats. Walk from Africa's grasslands to North America's Arctic coast!
There is no fee to attend the event and lunch will be provided. Please register by April 26, 2009 to hold your reservation. Here are the information flyer and registration form* in both English and Español
