A Fun Time at the Castle and a Time for Giving Back
Warm up and join us at Hemophilia of North Carolina’s (HNC) 2016 Holiday Celebration! We are continuing with our tradition of joining together on the first Saturday of December with everyone that makes HNC special. It’s a day to reflect on our successes from the past year, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.
This year, we will be returning to the Crystal Garden at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, NC (close to High Point and Greensboro). Enjoy a delicious lunch, crafts for the kids, games, and as always lots of fun at no cost to HNC members.
Our special guest speaker will be Adriana Henderson, President and Founder of the S.T.A.R. Children Relief foundation. The Foundation runs Camp Ray of Hope in Romania for children with bleeding disorders. We are also expecting a visit from the jolly elf from the North Pole, Santa Claus. All children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, who will be handing out presents to all the kids (newborn to 18 years old).
We look forward to seeing you there!
Giving Back – To keep with the giving spirit, we have always asked attendees to bring an item with them that can be donated to another charity. This year, we will be collecting glow sticks to benefit campers at Camp Ray of Hope, a camp for children living with bleeding disorders in Romania. These are easily purchased at your local Dollar Store, Target or WalMart and are a big hit with campers, so help brighten their day by bringing a package with you to this year's Holiday Celebration. We appreciate your generosity as we work together to give back to the larger community!
If you have questions about the event, please contact Charlene Cowell, HNC Executive Director, at (800) 990-5557 or by email at email@example.com.
