Entering Checks and Cash Donations
- Sign in to your FirstGiving account:
- Go to the FirstGiving website at www.firstgiving.com
- Click on Sign In in the upper right.
- Enter your email address and FirstGiving password and click Sign In
- Once signed in you will see a list of your fundraising efforts stored on the FirstGiving system (you may see only one). Click on your page for the event that you want your donation to go towards.
- Select the Your Fundraising tab if it isn't already selected.
- Click on Enter offline donations (on the right, in the gray box).
- Enter your donor's information.
(Note: In order for your donor to receive a letter for tax deduction purposes, complete name and mailing address information is required.)
- When you have finished entering everything, click Continue .
You may keep adding as many additional cash or check donations as you have.
Print these instructions
Turn in all checks and cash to the HNC Office. Please remember to identify the donor for each donation.
(This is especially important for cash donations!)
