HNC Men's Retreat
Friday-Sunday – July 28–30, 2017
618 Salter Path Road
Pine Knoll Shores, NC
Are you an adult male, 18 or older, living with a bleeding disorder, or a dad of a child with a bleeding disorder? The HNC Men’s Retreat is a program designed to support the community through mentoring and common connections.
This is a wonderful opportunity for dads and their adult sons to pair up and share the experience, each from their own perspective. We have had several fathers and sons join this group in past years, and it has been great. Each person must register separately, but no other special arrangements are necessary. Please contact the HNC office if you have any questions.
This year's Men's Retreat will be held at the Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores, on the NC Outer Banks. Just steps away from the beach, the Trinity Center features modest accommodations in a serene setting. The accommodations are in guest rooms referred to as clusters. All clusters have their own central living room, with furniture, a TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a gas log fireplaces. Guest rooms have private bathrooms, a double and twin bed, air conditioning as well as all sheets and bathroom towels for the weekend.
On Friday evening there will be Dads in Action and Blood Brotherhood programming through the Hemophilia Federation of America’s (HFA) peer support program. Saturday will feature a workshop Your Miracle, Your Life presented by Inalex Communications. On Sunday, enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or enjoy other activities on your own. There is plenty of free time built into the weekend to enjoy all the Trinity Center has to offer including a pool and easy beach access.
Hemophilia of North Carolina gratefully acknowledges the pledge of support from the following companies and organizations for the 2017 HNC Men's Retreat:
