Aging with a Chronic Condition

Tuesday, September 25, 2018 – 6:30pm-8:30pm

Maggiano's Little Italy
8030 Renaissance Pkwy
Durham, NC

Registration deadline has been extended.

Join Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) and Bioverativ for dinner and an educational presentation.

Tanya Stephenson, CoRE Manager with Bioverativ, will present The Next Chapter: Aging with a Chronic Condition. As treatments and health care has evolved, so too has the bleeding disorder community’s outlook on aging. While getting older may present new challenges, it also presents new opportunities. In this educational program, you will discuss ways to take care of your physical health, including appropriate exercise. You will also look at how your emotional well-being is cultivated by staying connected to the community, sharing your experiences with others, and being a positive influence on future generations.

This program will provide an excellent opportunity for learning and connecting with others in the community.

This event is being offered free to all HNC members. Because of space constraints, priority will be given to HNC members who are unaffiliated with home care, pharmaceutical, and other related industries. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.

optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Bioverativ representatives about products and services they offer to the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Information about this company's products and services is being provided as a public service only. As a non-profit advocate for the bleeding disorders community, Hemophilia of North Carolina does not endorse any treatment products, manufacturers, home care services, or individual medical providers.
