HNC Educational Program
Thursday, June 7, 2018 – 6:15pm-8:15pm
10 Biltmore Plaza
Asheville, NC 28803 – 828-505-7682
Join Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) and Shire for dinner and an educational presentation. Dinner will be at The Cantina in historic Biltmore Village.
Shire Clinical Educator, Betsy Koval, will present the Hello Talk! Road to Managing Your Healthcare Independently. This program will help families manage transitions. Transitions happen at every age and stage; from teaching your children to understand their bleeding disorder, treatments, self-infusion, ordering medicine and supplies, and more. Learn about the importance of managing those transitions to foster greater healthcare independence and get some tools for your transition toolbelt. We encourage all HNC member families to attend this valuable opportunity to learn and connect with others in the community.
This event is being offered free to all HNC members. Because of space constraints, priority will be given to HNC members who are unaffiliated with home care, pharmaceutical, and other related industries. If your group includes more than four persons, please contact the HNC office before registering.
optional: After the educational presentation is complete, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with Shire representatives about products and services they offer to the community.
PLEASE NOTE: Information about this company's products and services is being provided as a public service only. As a non-profit advocate for the bleeding disorders community, Hemophilia of North Carolina does not endorse any treatment products, manufacturers, home care services, or individual medical providers.
